Your donation helps protect local wildlife, stop polluters, and build a climate resilient Bay Area.
Why focus on salt marshes? Salt marshes are one of the most productive ecosystems in the world, yet approximately 90% of them in the SF Bay have been lost over the last 150 years. They serve as buffers against sea level rise, filter pollutants out of the Bay, store carbon and greenhouse gases 10X greater than tropical rainforests, and provide habitats for hundreds of animal species, including those featured in our cards. Time travel through the SF Bay tidal marshes here. 🫎🐭🦋🫶💚🌏♻️🌊
